RV Tire Protection

Should I use RV tire covers if I am using 303 Aerospace Protectant?

Most customers use 303 Aerospace Protectant on their tires because of the unreal, long-lasting cosmetics.  But some customers "need" 303 to prevent sidewall failure tires that are parked for extended periods: RV's, boat trailers, collector cars, utility trailers.  And periodically applied, meaning every couple of months, these parked tires don't even check, much less experience sidewall failure.

Many RVers, most having learned the hard way, know that sunlight speeds sidewall failure.  Consequently, in the RV aftermarket you'll find tire covers and they are beneficial. But 303 A. Protectant is extremely effective at preventing both UV light and ozone damage and makes tires look great besides.

Do the answer is, yes you can use RV tire covers if you are using 303 Aerospace Protectant doesn't hurt and could help if you forget to retreat with 303 for a few months.  But for a regular 303 user, purchasing tire covers is an unnecessary expense.

HINTS:Ozone will eventually cause the inner sidewall to fail also.  RVers, trailer boaters and classic car owners should treat the inner sidewalls 3-4 times a year

Vinyl tire covers, because of their constant exposure and typically low quality vinyl, rarely last past 3-5 years.  Use 303 Aerospace Protectant to keep covers clean and looking like new and dramatically extend their life.
