Founded in 1990, Viva Vinyl started in the loft of a small harbor warehouse as a supplier for upholstery materials for the marine market. Once supplying material for boat covers and cushions, Viva Vinyl has broadened its horizons and taken on all aspects and trends of outdoor living in the luxury water sport industry.
Nautolex and Boltalex
These were the first two lines imported to the USA to be used for boat cushions. Both have a Prefixx Protective Finish which is impregnated into the top layer of the material. This gives outstanding stain-resistance and keeps cleaning simple. The fabrics are available in all colors of the rainbow. Boltaflex is fire retardant class M1.
Sunbrella and Sunbrella Plus
Sunbrella Marine -
Used for canvas tops. It is water resistant, breathable, easy to clean and doesn't trap heat or moisture.
Sunbrella Plus - Takes durability one step further. It incorporates a durable, UV resistant, acrylic undercoating.
Sunbrella Outdoor - Offers a softer, lighter material while still remaining water and UV resistant.
Sunbrella is the ideal fabric not only for boating, but also for furniture design, indoor or out.

Alcantara - Viva Vinyl's most exclusive product. Alcantara is a popular choice for designers in the marine, furniture and project market.
| Agua Fabrics - one of the newest additions to the Viva Vinyl's range of fabrics. Agua fabrics are made from filament polyester, giving them the look, feel and handle of regular fabrics, however they have been impregnated and multi-coated with aqueous based, micro-porous polymers. These fabrics are anti-bacterial, anti fungal, stain resistant, hard wearing, waterproof and fire retardant.
Extex
Designed as an innovative outdoor fabric. Extex combines the luxurious feel of chenille with high performance. This all-purpose collection of fabrics is treated with Teflon and is perfect for interior and exterior uses.
